Dr. David Proctor


David has worked in several busy clinics in Melbourne and Geelong where he has treated patients from all age groups. Although David enjoys treating a wide range of conditions he has a keen interest in treating pregnancy related issues, children and sporting injuries having completed a Masters study in 2006 working with AFL footballers.

David established 13th Beach Osteopathy & Health Services in 2010 with the aim of providing the Bellarine Peninsula and Geelong with the highest standard of health care.

David is a firm believer in educating and empowering every client to have an active role in achieving their specific treatment goals.

Dr. Amy Dietrich


Amy commenced her osteopathic career in 2006 after studying at Victoria University of Technology. She has worked in highly successful clinics in Melbourne, Torquay and Ocean Grove where she has developed a strong appreciation of the body’s innate ability to heal itself.

Amy has a keen interest in women’s health and particularly enjoys working with patients during and after pregnancies to share this wonderful experience. 



Dr. Nick Cannon


Having recently returned to Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula, Nick was excited to join the team of experienced practitioners at 13th Beach Osteopathy & Health Services at the end of 2016. Having spent the past two years working with an amateur football club in Melbourne, Nick brings with him an exceptional understanding and ability to deal with sporting injuries ranging from those sustained in the gym to sports like football, netball and golf.

Nick has also utilised his Osteopathic skills overseas where he was fortunate enough to work in India and the United Kingdom. He spent time in a variety of clinics around London, ranging from expectant mothers clinics to those designed for the elderly where he was able to learn from well-respected U.K osteopaths.

With his time in India, he was based at an Orthopaedic hospital in Mumbai where he was lucky enough to work alongside orthopaedic surgeons observing several knee & shoulder operations in addition to working with Physiotherapists, Neurological Surgeons and other Osteopaths to collaboratively provide the best healthcare to their patients.

Outside of the clinic, Nick likes to consider himself the seasonal golfer and has developed an interest in further studies surrounding workplace health & ergonomics. For this reason Nick has developed a keen focus in both sporting injuries and neck & back complaints related to posture and workplace ergonomics. He believes in educating patients about their injury so that they can work together to provide long term strategies to manage these conditions.

Dr. Teneille Maloney


Teneille has worked at several Osteopathic clinics in Melbourne and enjoys treating a broad range of conditions using a wide variety of Osteopathic techniques, which are tailored to each individual patient. She applies the Osteopathic principles to each patient - treating the body as a complete unit, not only treating the area of pain but also looking at other areas that may be influencing the pain or sore due to compensation. She will thoroughly address any underlying causes to prevent reoccurrence of the injury.

Teneille takes a particular interest in treating and managing conditions such as sporting injuries, women's health - such as pain during and after pregnancy, and long standing chronic conditions such as neck pain and lower back pain. Teneille has also completed a Neuromuscular Dry Needling course, which she finds effective for treating inflammatory conditions such as tennis elbow, hip and shoulder bursitis and other repetitive strain injuries.

Dr. Melissa Briggs

Osteopath & Reformer Pilates Instructor 

After finishing her Osteopathic studies at Victoria University in 2005, Melissa returned to her hometown to commence working at busy regional clinics in Echuca and Shepparton. Melissa is passionate about helping her patients get the best outcomes from Osteopathy treatment and utilises a wide range of techniques including soft tissue massage, manipulation and stretching to achieve this. Melissa has also completed post-graduate education in Pilates and dry needling, which compliments Osteopathic techniques.

Melissa herself is a mum of 2 small children and this has reinforced her passion for assisting parents through the journey of pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, post natal care and providing gentle osteopathic treatment to children of all ages. Having had a long-term involvement in netball and football clubs, Melissa has developed a keen interest in treating athletes from all types of sports and helping parents return to sport after injury. 


Dr. Candice Honey


After graduating from her Osteopathic studies in 2004 Candice has had the opportunity to gain valuable experience over the past 12 years from working in far north Queensland, Ireland, Bellarine Peninsula and her home town Geelong.

Recently back from maternity leave she is excited to be once again assisting clients to find heath by diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Candice has furthered her studies on myofascial strain patterns and trigger point dry needling allowing her to apply a wide range of treatment approaches to her clients. Raising self-awareness of how lifestyle may contribute to pain and injury can play a huge role in the recovery process and is an important part of her treatment approach.


Joanne Jones

Massage Therapist

 Joanne has worked in a number of Allied Health Clinics both in Melbourne and around the Surf Coast area. She has also worked on a volunteer basis at the Living Centre which is part of the Think Pink Foundation, treating breast cancer patients. Joanne believes that Massage plays an important role in the Wellness plan for everyone, whatever their age, fitness level, and state of Health.

Joanne enjoys treating patients with Massage as part of their over-all Allied Health Treatment program to assist with Muscular aches, pains and soreness from overuse, injuries or Medical conditions. Joanne also has experience in Massage treatments for:

  • Pregnant women
  • Children
  • Sports Massage and Rehabilitation

After completing a Diploma in Remedial Massage at Australian College of Massage in 2009 Joanne was invited back by the College to participate in their Lecture Training program and now Lectures students in Diploma of Remedial Massage for the college. She enjoys teaching and educating students in the art of Massage as well as educating her clients on the Health benefits of Massage.

Amy Lynch 

Massage Therapist 

Graduating from Victoria University in 2015 with a Diploma of Remedial Massage, she is also in the process of completing her Bachelor of Exercise Science (Human Movement).

Amy has had a lot of experience in the sports industry she is currently a member of the Massage team at Geelong Cats, previously she had a cadetship with the Western Bulldogs through their 2015 season and worked for the Werribee Tigers in the 2015 VFL season. 

 Amy believes that massage plays a vital role in rehabilitation and maintenance, assisting in the management of muscular aches, pains and soreness incurred from overuse and sports injuries. 

Massage can be a great way to manage some other conditions such as:

- anxiety and stress

- fatigue 

- migraines and headaches

It is important to Amy that she is able to teach her clients the benefits of massage and home exercises to make them feel and perform their best.

Andrea Batobalani  

Massage Therapist 

Andrea is our latest Remedial Massage Therapist to join our experienced team at the clinic. Combined with working at the clinic, Andrea is a trainer for Barwon Heads Football & Netball Club in the BFL.

She especially enjoys the sports and injury side of massage. She volunteers her skills at all different local events such as: The Iron Man Geelong, The Tour de Transplant, The Kodak Triathlon and Relay 4 Life.

Andrea has experience massaging in:

Konrad Slavinskis


Graduated from Victoria University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) and graduated with a Masters Degree in Exercise for Rehabilitation in 2002. After working as an Exercise Physiologist he decided to pursue his interest in functional/exercise rehabilitation and completed a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies degree at University of Queensland in 2004.

Konrad utilises his thorough clinical assessment, manual therapy and exercise prescription skills to achieve a well-rounded, comprehensive and long lasting treatment plan for his patients.

Throughout his career he has worked for various sporting organisations including, the Geelong Football Club, State Netball Victoria and the North Melbourne Football Club. During this time he has developed a keen clinical interest in treating hip/pelvis and groin related injuries and has special interest in the knee, shoulder and post surgical rehabilitation. His philosophy encourages a strong multidisciplinary model of care to achieve the best outcomes for his patients.




Lachy Bromley


Lachlan is currently the VFL physiotherapist at the Geelong Cats. Previously he has spent 3 years in amateur football including a premiership year with the Melb University Blacks, as well as being involved across hockey, soccer and athletics. He has completed further training in strength and conditioning and clinical pilates as well as the use of dry needling. Further to this he is completing post-graduate study in the area of sports physiotherapy and has extra training in tendon management, the thoracic spine and lower limb injuries. Lachlan enjoys utilising all of these skills and knowledge to create effective treatment and rehabilitation programs that see his patients return stronger and fitter then before their injuries.

Outside of his work hours Lachy enjoys keeping fit by utilising regular strength training and incidental exercise with his dog. He's also a big cats fan and enjoys getting to games as a spectator!



Kim Nankivell 


Having recently become a resident of  Barwon Heads, Kim Nankivell is excited to be joining 13th Beach Osteopathy and Health Services and looks forward to meeting both existing and new patients. 

Kim discovered her passion for Podiatry when serious lower limb injuries threatened her career as an elite Junior Sprinter. After seeing many different health professionals, the most successful treatment for her conditions was found when she visited a Podiatrist. At this point Kim realised that she could combine her interests in sport and helping people as a career. Kim graduated with a Bachelor degree of Podiatry in 1999 and worked for several years in a private Podiatry practice based in Adelaide.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband Dylan and children Paige & Violet. Kim enjoys playing golf and also loves snowboarding and water sports.
